We explore food, design & culture through all of the senses.
Sexy Plate Sexy Space is a digital platform and biannual publication exploring food, design, and daily life through the lens of sensuality and lived experience.
We focus on the tactile and emotional side of culture — how spaces feel, how meals seduce, and how everyday rituals shape the way we move through the world. Texture, atmosphere, intimacy, and presence sit at the center of our editorial lens.
Published twice a year, each issue (available in print + digital) immerses readers in the sensory identity of a specific place. Through rich visual storytelling, intimate interviews, and thoughtful cultural narratives, we explore how a city tastes, feels, sounds, and lives — guided by the people who shape its creative and culinary landscape.
Online, Sexy Plate Sexy Space extends into an evolving editorial world. We publish sensual food culture, design and interior inspiration, personal rituals, and curated discoveries — from evocative table settings and bold spaces to the small details that make life feel sexy and delicious.

We believe in:
The Eroticism of Everyday Life
We believe pleasure lives in the small things – a soft light, a sharp bite, the curve of a well-worn chair. Eroticism isn’t a performance; it’s a way of seeing.
Food and Spaces as Emotional Landscapes
We explore meals, interiors, and environments in a way that makes them unforgettable. Because food and space don’t just nourish or shelter us – they move us.
New Experiences as Nourishment
We crave newness, not just for novelty, but for the way it expands our senses, perspective, and connection to the world. In each issue, we take you somewhere new.
MEET THE EDITOR + FOUNDER.
Sexy Plate Sexy Space was created by Irene Krueger, a lifelong sensualist with a deep interest in how people eat, live, and gather.
Irene sees the world through feeling. To her, a space is never just a space and a meal is never just a meal; they are invitations into texture, intimacy, and pleasure.
Before SPSS, she spent years helping creative brands grow at the intersection of design, storytelling, and culture. But she found herself craving a different kind of media — something bold, tactile, and alive. Something that treated food and interiors not as trends, but as sensory experiences that move us.
Sexy Plate Sexy Space is her answer.
Her editorial compass is simple: if it doesn’t make you feel something, it’s not worth publishing.
